PTRF is pleased to offer the public two interactive web-based mapping tools. Below are explanations of each maps' features and data. Please click on the images above to enter the map sites.

IM Rivers Map

IM Rivers is a new web site that nonprofit River Network Partner groups can use to develop interactive watershed maps and make them available to the public. The information can be about land use, pollution sources, clean up and restoration activities, water quality, flows, natural history, recreational access - in fact, about almost anything desired. PTRF's map tracks pollution, shows the location of fish kills, large industries and mine sites, and even shows the location of our office. Furthermore, there is specific information on state parks located within the river basin, as well as scenic areas of interest along the river.  Views include aerial, street maps, and hybrid. CWMP Map

This map was developed originally by an ECU graduate student, Joseph Luchette. The map provides the location and links to data for our water quality sampling stations collected by our CWMP volunteers. The map provides the location of potential contamination sources and specific information on sites such as industries, underground storage tanks, landfills, industrial animal operations, etc. This map is only available with a street map view.
